Recently I was
contacted through my
website occultauctions.com by a lovely gentleman who invited me to a
private auction of oddities, antiques an rare collectables. Utterly
intrigued by the invitation I decided to make the trip to So Cal for the
auction. I ended up purchasing two items, this incredible book and a
set of old candlestick holders which you can see in the pictures.

design. Latch hitch secures book by swing over style leather strap that
latches.

and Key: The latch bares a hole for a
lock (Lock and key included!)
Condition
This book’s cover both front and back
have a lot of wear. This includes scratches wear spots, fraying, scrapes, and
discoloration. It’s awesome. The The book has a couple pages that have
rips/tares in them but no pages fall out. The binding of this book is solid and
it is heavy duty in its construction because it was made the old fashion way. A
majority of the pages are in excellent shape. Some of the pages towards the front are pretty
worn and some have been moist at some point. Overall it is still an awesome find
and the winning bidder should be thrilled to own this incredible one of a kind
spell book.

Some of the pages appear to be old,
others seem newer. Some pages stick together and/ or are faded, wrinkled, or
have darkened. Some pages may have candle wax drips, oils, stains on them. SOME PAGES HAVE BEEN HAND WRITTEN AND
DRAWN! THERE ARE SEVERAL NOTES HAND-WRITTEN
THROUGHOUT THE BOOK! IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE SEND ME A MESSAGE AND

Whats In the book
This book contains tons of pages of RARE REAL witchcraft spells, magickal practices,
rituals, histories, drawings and diagrams, potions, secrets, coven information,
laws, ceremony scripts, coven conduct, moon spells, correspondences, third eye,
tarot, gypsy magic, love spells, weather spells, healing spells, power spells,
banishing spells, personal accounts of magick, elders secret lists, codes, oaths
& pacts, enchantments, conjurations, gods and goddesses and much more.
There is also a small section left in the back of blank pages for you to add to
this powerful tome.
Cover
This book’s cover both
front and back have a lot of wear. This includes scratches wear spots, fraying,
scrapes, and discoloration. The leather is rugged and tells a story of old. The
book smells of Wort Cunning (herbs and such)!
Spine
The book also has
several magickal symbols along the spine some of which are common witchcraft,
elemental, alchemy and Egyptian symbols others we have yet to decipher! These
markings on the spine are pretty worn.
Binding
The book has a couple pages that have rips/tares
in them but no pages fall out. The binding of this book is solid and it is
heavy duty in its construction because it was made the old fashion way. The
book falls open and lays flat, the pages are large but turn easy and there is
something extra to find on many pages!
Pages
- There is an extensive Potion/Brews/ Powder Mixing Section in the book with complete instructions (See images).
- There is also a BUILT-IN HERB CABINET of sorts that are still full with the original little tied satchels of herbs/ resins and other fascinating ingredients you’ll never even believe!
- A majority of the pages are in excellent shape. Inside this master piece you will find extremely colorful artwork and magickal dictation was well as original artwork and creation that is truly unparalleled. This is no everyday Book of Shadows!
- Some of the pages towards the front are pretty worn and many have become wrinkled and wavy from elemental exposure (which this book talks about quite a bit). Overall it is still an awesome find and the winning bidder should be thrilled to own this incredible one of a kind spell book.

THAT IS LIKE NEW! DUE TO THE
FACT THAT THIS BELONGED TO
A REAL WITCH THE MATERIAL WRITTEN BY HER IS REAL AND IN HER NATURAL HANDWRITING
WHICH WAS MOSTLY DONE IN PEN AND PENCIL. SHE WAS NOT A PROFESSIONAL ARTIST OR CALLIGRAPHER
AND MOST OF HER WRITING IS OF AVERAGE PENMANSHIP STYLE. Not everything in the
book will necessarily make sense to you which is to be expected. The creator of
this book was highly experienced in Magick of all types and many spell should
only be attempted by seasoned practitioners.
Craft at ye own risk!
- Some of the pages were written in traditional quill & ink while (mostly in the beginning). As you journey deeper into the Grimoire, you will witness this masters evolution into new mediums such as stitching, pencils, charcoals, pigments, paints and eventually colored pens.
- Some pages stick together! Some pages are faded, wrinkled, or have darkened. Some pages may have candle wax drips, oils, and stains on them.
- Some pages have been ripped in half, both halves still attached. Some pages has scriptures pasted to them. There are ritual scripts sewn into the book on smaller sized parchment paper.
- THERE ARE LOTS OF HAND-WRITTEN NOTES AND PERSONAL OUTCOMES/ EXPERIENCES WITH SPELLS PREFORMED THROUGHOUT THE BOOK!
